Location: Underway to Saint Helena
Today was a pretty chill day on Vela. After our third night of watch on passage, we all joined for lunch at noon. It was raining last night, but it was mostly all cleared up before lunch, which was great. We had caprese sandwiches with homemade bread, and it was phenomenal! After lunch, we met in the salon for oceanography and leadership. Both classes flew by and were a ton of fun. After class, some of us worked on homework while some of us played games and just chatted about our days I personally took a nap to prepare for watch tonight. For dinner, Zoe made fried rice and broccoli, which was also a hit. We are making good progress on our way to St. Helena and have had a pretty smooth journey so far. None of the students has been seasick so far,a nd I sure hope it stays that way (knock on wood)🤞Until next time, blog – Camilla
