Location: Underway to Saint Helena
Its the second day of passage and were starting to settle into a routine. My day started with Reed waking me up at 03:30 for watch. Im on watch team 1 with Camilla, Hannah K, Henry, and Sam. We each took 1hr shifts of being at the helm, and Sam and Henry shared some frustrating riddles. Once the sun rose, we dropped the fishing line. And at 08:00, watch team 2 took over, and it was straight back to bed to attempt to get a full 8 hours of sleep. I woke back up at 11:30 and we all had lunch which was chicken nuggets and pasta made by Henry and Hanna k and we heard about the fish that watch team 2 almost caught (It broke the hook). Lunch was followed by oceanography and seamanship, a bit of free time to work on species logbooks, get some rest, and play Rubik’s cubes. Then it was off to dinner, where we had BBQ chicken and leftovers. After dinner, team 2 started watch while everyone else tried to get some rest before their watch.
