Location: Civitavecchia, Italy

We rose from our cabins bright and early (5:45 AM, rough) and made our way to a train off to Rome by 6:45. The morning was spent visiting two typical tourist spots in Rome: the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. The group then walked through the city to find a famous restaurant (on Argo, at least), only to discover that it was closed on Mondays. Setback. Instead, we went to a small restaurant and ate everything from bruschetta to steak. The group then split into several factions; half went to explore while the rest went shopping. The day closed with a viewing of the Spanish steps (as well as bargaining for Ray Bans-fun). We headed back to Argo and Civitavecchia, armed with bags of souvenirs, to enjoy dinner on the boat for the last time. Tomorrow marks the final boat appreciation and our last night out as a crew. It’s been fun.
