Location: Civitavecchia, Italy
We arrived back in Civitavecchia today. For the crew, it is like arriving back to a home port of sorts. For the students, it represents the beginning of the end. The crew had arrived a whole lot tanner, but more importantly, an enormous amount closer to each other than when we began the trip so many weeks ago. This journey of nearly 800 miles has now come full circle, and we have saved the very best for last: Rome. Tomorrow, the students will explore the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, and the Vatican. What will follow will be a day to give back to Argo all that she has given us during our Boat Appreciation. This trip has been a pleasure.
