Today started out like any other until we were all sitting in the cockpit before lunch, and I asked Dani why the skipper hadn’t started the count off so we could eat. Then I remembered that I was a skipper and loudly yelled 0. After lunch and clean-up, we headed down to the saloon and began our Oceanography quiz, which everyone did fairly well on. Leoni was kind enough to give us a study guide for our midterm that is in 2 days, fun fun, and then we watched one of my dad’s favorite movies White Squall. We all enjoyed it until we realized how similar it is to our crew and boat and that we are currently in the middle of the Atlantic. We then had some time to talk about how stressed we were for the midterm and then took naps to avoid studying for it. Freddie turned into his past life as a barber and gave Bubba a bowl cut and Jack a mullet. Dinner was chicken parm which was amazing and very time-consuming to make, so shout out to the chefs. After clean-up, the people who are not on watch will be risking valuable sleep for a movie night to celebrate the beautiful and kind-hearted Sav who we love more than sleep itself. And that is all for today hope all is well on the ground that doesn’t move!
