Location: English Harbor, Antigua

We had a beautiful day of weather here in Antigua! Early in the morning, we split up into three groups, two groups continuing their confined water for scuba diving and the other group of already certified. My group went out first to do our scuba diving and learned a bunch of new skills. Despite the hot sun, the water was still cold enough to require wetsuits to be worn by all. After coming back and getting some lunch (cooked by our amazing chef Sam and her sous chefs Brett and Issac), we learned some of the knots used on the ship and practiced our skills with the lines. We then got to put those skills to use and hoisted Sierra and Mia up in a harness up to the spreader to hang lines which looked like a lot of fun! During this time, the second group of divers was out in the bay with Amanda working on their new scuba skills- one step closer to being certified, open water divers! As the sunset and everyone’s feet were back on board, we sat down for a lovely stir fry dinner and squeeze. Currently, we are working hard on some school assignments, making popcorn, and heading to bed-ready for another beautiful day on Ocean Star tomorrow.
