Hallo iedereen! As the sixth day of our ocean crossing is passing by, a blog update is very much needed. This morning, the first-ever “CLOA” session took place. All the Coffee Lovers Of Argo gathered to midship at 11:30 for their first coffee tasting led by Ash. Like real coffee snobs, we all got our personal coffee cups and beans. Ash shared his wisdom about French presses and different coffee bean roasts; it is fair to say it blew my mind. In the afternoon, Gabe had prepared a workshop for the upcoming navmaster exam. In a saloon full of charts, each one of us got plenty of time to do exercises. The rest of the afternoon was spent on deck enjoying the peaceful feeling of having the wind blow us gently to the Marquesas as all six of our sails were raised. To close off this beautiful day, Jack and Penelope spoiled us with their freshly caught fish (an 11 kg Wahu!). As the nautical miles slowly keep counting, everyone seems to have found their rhythm on this adventure. All is good here on Argo! Aan iedereen thuis: alles gaat hier nog steeds goed met mij, ik mis jullie allemaal (natuurlijk vooral jou mama) Vele groeten! Pieter
