Hello friends and family! So today started off with watch team three on the 8 am-12 pm watch, where the sun was shining, and sunscreen was applied by the hour. Boatmeal (oatmeal on the boat) gets better and better each day. Our meals today were made by Carolyn, and we enjoyed a great Asian coleslaw for lunch today. After lunch, we had two classes- Nautical science and leadership. Today Amanda taught our nautical science course, and we learned how to find our course to steer (basically learned how to plan where we would want to go if we were sailing somewhere). We pulled out our charts, dividers, parallel ruler, and bread and butter. also known as Breton plotters. It was a great class then we had a short snack/nap break before our leadership class. Today in leadership, Mal and Sarah presented their PowerPoint on learning how to conquer change. It was a very fitting lesson since this whole experience was quite a change for all of us. They did a great job on their presentation. After that, we had a short hour and a half break before dinner except for the PSCT students. They gathered in the cockpit to learn about some lights and day shapes.

Meanwhile, others napped had a snack, or worked on other assignments. Personally, I had the chance to finish my leadership PowerPoint for me and Chanskys presentation in two days. After our free time, it was time to feast!

Carolyn made delicious Buddha bowls, including quinoa, chickpeas, squash, sweet potatoes, and more. It was 10 out of 10! Finally, Dylan told us, Lets clean up! so we proceeded. Natalie, Max, and Duncan practiced their towel whipping while Gigi worked on her balance in the cockpit. Also, I need to note the rivalry between Dylan and Laura is getting more intense by the day. Now we are all starting to wind down while watch team 1 takes over the helm, and the rest of us shower and prepare for bed. The weather was beautiful today, and were one day closer to The Azores! Wish us luck while we try not to fall over in the shower! Bye!
