Whats up, squad!? Today was another fun day onboard our girl, Vela. Everyone woke up to an army bugle alarm (done by yours truly), which was pretty funny if I do say so myself. After a yummy breakfast of berries and cream overnight oats, we headed straight into some classes. In marine biology, we had a super interesting lecture about marine fishes. We had seamanship and learned about how to navigate more precisely and accurately than what we were doing before. After class, we enjoyed some chicken cobb salads made by Mac and got started on some passage prep for the passage to the Galapagos!! The anchor chain was out because it had to be painted, so the whole team worked to get it back into the locker, which got pretty muddy. When we finished scrubbing the deck and getting Vela sparkling clean again, we had some free time, which meant naps, showers, and studying. Pretty soon, Emma came back with some provisions for our passage, so while everyone was helping to put them away, Henry and I got to work in the Galley making sweet potato burger bowls. They were super delicious. However, I would like to formally apologize for forgetting to cook the veggie patties for the vegetarians (sorry, Mac, Claire, Paloma, and Brooke.) Anyways, then we finished clean up from dinner and started our nighttime de-stress so we could be ready for a long day of passage tomorrow. Thats all for now, folks!

P.S. Mom and Dad, I miss you guys so much, and I cant wait to call you after writing this.
