Location: Cook's Bay, Moorea, French Polynesia

In the wee hours of the morning watch team 2 brought us into the lovely island of Moorea! Watch team 3 began anchor watch at 4 am when a 30 knot gust of wind came over the bay nearly knocking the two people on watch over! At 8:30 everybody woke up and had some delicious cereal for breakfast. After breakfast we began our BA (boat appreciation) and began cleaning all day long. Some people cleaned the galley, others the hull and water line, a group worked up on deck, and another group worked hard on cleaning out 3 bilges from hydraulic fuel that had spilled earlier in the week. We ended our day with some rain, showers, and a lovely dinner. After dinner we had OCE Research Project presentations and now everyone is slowly, one by one going to sleep! Much love to all at home we all can’t wait to see you in 6 days! Skipper of the Day Connor Maloney
