Location: Pain a Sucre, Les Saintes

Argo’s crew began their day with homemade banana bread and a student leadership development class. During class we considered the events and individuals that had the greatest impact on who we are today. We were also presented with important information on our next destination, Dominica! After class we were briefed on our research diver assignment. In the first dive we observed how depth affects where different corals and sponges grow. In our final research dive we counted the number of fish within a radius of the quadrants along the transact line. We observed everything from scorpion fish, to eels, and an octopus! After the dives we prepared the boat for this evenings passage to Dominica and enjoyed Mexican Lasagna. Au revoir Les Saints, hello Dominica! -Sophie Hollingsworth, Skipper of the Day
