Location: Isla Santa Cruz, Galapagos
Today was a super fun day! We all did exactly the opposite of what we did yesterday today. Whoever didnt dive yesterday dove today, and the rest had shore time. I heard some stories that Skyler saw many things, for example, 13 orca whales (it’s a joke) and some whale sharks. Jokingggg they just saw a bunch of hammerheads and whitefin sharks and 50 baby rays, sea turtles, seals, and black tip sharks. Everyone else on shore went to the beach and hung out, got some good food and ice cream, did some shopping, you know, all the fun things. Will and Arthur got some narly sunburns. I also heard at Squeeze that Avi had a little incident with a sea lion and got trapped. Mars had a fun day of trying to sort out his college stuff and had a fun day at the cafe.
Meanwhile, on the boat, Meg and a few other Staff did some boat chores and put away all our provisions, which apparently took a few hours. Everyone also stocked up on snacks for the next 20 days, which I wasn’t able to because my card didnt work sadly. im sure y’all know, but we go on passage TOMMOROW!!! 20 days at sea! Yippieeee. We get to have normal wake-ups instead of 5:50 am wake-ups, and then we go to customs around 10 am and passage prep after, and then sails up, and we’re off to cross the Pacific!
