Location: Gustavia, St. Barts
Following 60 days of mountainous terrain, a glorious sunrise over the flat expanse of Barbuda made a welcome change. After a quick breakfast we set off over the calm sea to St. Barths. With no wind to aid our passage, it was a long hot motor, only the odd seabird swooping past provided a break to the skyline. Once we had anchored, the shipmates welcomed shower time and the opportunity to wash away the heat and sweat of the day in the cool waters just outside the harbour of Gustavia. Now all there is left to do, is an Oceanography quiz on marine management and then preparation for the bright lights and ritzy glamour of St. Barths!
