Location: Tahiti

As the sun rose on May the fourth
Our final day came forth
On the agenda was the second day of BA
French pastries, eggs and sausages to start the day
Back at it again with the scrubbing of the deck
Down below in the bilges James and I were up to our neck
We made the boat look spick and span
There wasnt a speck of dust even in the fans
As the first half of the day came to a close
Up from the galley sandwiches arose
Munching down we filled our tummies
Cheers to the chefs it was yummy
After lunch it was scrubbing the top sides
Thanks to Mac we were making giant strides
While this was going on there was packing galore
Everyone tidying up their rooms no longer an eye sore
With BA completed the boat was looking clean as ever
A challenging and hardworking yet fun endeavour
Its time for dinner
Reflecting on how our time is getting thinner
Jake ordering a meter long pizza was colossal
He fought hard but didnt win the tussle
With dinner over its time to go back to the boat
Vela truly is the goat
We now sit at midships reflecting on the past
Our memories on Vela will always last.
Farewell to the staff
Farewell to our friends
Vela we will remember you till the end.

Thanks Caro and Harrison for helping me write that.
Thank you to every single person who made the voyage possible. The Seamester office behind the scenes. The family and friends who backed their student up. The amazing staff who have become great friends. The 15 students who have grown close together. It was moving to hear everyone speak on what they were proud of themselves achieving. Everyone has grown in various ways and Im positive will be happy and successful wherever they go. See you all soon
