Slowly getting accustomed to the 6:30 am wake-up, we painlessly managed to have breakfast, pack lunches, and clean up before departing on a 9-hour day of adventure. Quickly after leaving Argo, we arrived at Tyrins, then Argos, Mycenae, Nemea, Corinth, Akrokorinth, and finally Epidavaros. I know I can speak for all of us when I say that we have never experienced a more beautiful landscape than the Greek countryside. I have to say. The general favorite was Akrokorinth, an ancient citadel strategically built on and on top of a mountain. The breathtaking view at the top, miles and miles of the Greek countryside, historic ruins, and clear blue oceans, was unbelievable. We had a special dinner of gyros and Greek salad with the most delicious feta. After two tiring days, we are relaxing onshore tonight with gelato, beaches, and shops. We’re having a fantastic time, and I can’t believe tomorrow will be a week! PS. Charlie needs toothpaste, Mrs. Steere.
