Location: Underway to the Marquesas
Hey all! Grace here again, and this time it’s just me, I promise! Watch team one (which consists of Martin G.P, Will, Kaitie, Will, Ruby, Gavi and I) started our day at 4 am this morning. By Skylers day started at 12 am, which I will get to later, don’t worry.
Personally, the 4-8 watch is my favorite, so I wasn’t complaining. However, everyone else’s day started at 12 pm with the wonderful smell of homemade gnocchi, prepared by Jonas, Will, and Cason. I heard Martin and Gavi were also an extra set of hands. I was honestly left in shock at how messy the kitchen wasI don’t think it’s been this bad yet.
Today was just like any other day on Argo, which consists of food, class, watch, and naps. We had a lecture from Meg today, and the SkylEr/Ar’s gave us a lesson on facing change for Leadership class. Watch team one was supposed to have the 2-6 watch before dinner, but instead we had the 4:30-6 watch because no one went up after class. We could definitely say it was planned
Anyways, we pretty much ended the day with a fire dinner, Mexican bowls. This was again made by Jonas and his wonderful sous chefs, Will and Cason. I’d like to say that I helped this time by defrosting the sour cream at the last minute for them. We saw dolphins during dinner with a beautiful sunset in the background.
We are finally on day 15 of passage, and we found out some great news on our arrival day, April 4, at noon! This has been somewhat fun, but now I’m personally ready for it to be over!!
