Hejsan hejsan! This morning at 07:00, watch team 2 raised the anchor for us to leave from Nuku Hiva (Marquesas) to one of the atolls called Ahe in the Tuamotus. This passage is going to be 100% student-led. Penelope was our captain, and Sandra was her chief mate. Kelsey and I are watch team leaders for WT1, Jack and Makena are watch team leaders for WT2, and Max and Sandra are watch team leaders for WT3. There is a lot to think about and a lot of responsibility. It has been a huge challenge: Should we take down the jib? Should we raise the fish? But what about class? Should we turn the engine on? How many knots do we have to keep in order to get there on time? A lot of questions that we had been told an answer to before and now had to figure out ourselves. Big step! But with this amazing team, we obviously figured it out, and I think that we have made great decisions! It honestly feels a little weird being on passage again. I totally lost my sea legs, as if the three-week passage had never even happened! Jag borjar sakna er alla dar hemma otroligt mycket trots att jag lever mitt basta liv har! Men det ar inte langt kvar nu, en manad till!! Puss Puss
