Location: Pacific Ocean

Deep blue water, sun, and some clouds on a 3-day passage to an Atoll in the middle of the Pacific Ocean described the day pretty well. Everybody started to get back in the role of the middle of the night and early morning watches after what felt like a short-lived break in Nuka Hiva from the 3-week passage. However, this time, the boat is sailing student-led, which so far has been going well. Nothing too special happened today. We started with lunch, then to class, then to dinner. But just because nothing special happened doesn’t mean the day was bland. Sometimes, these kinds of days out at sea are exactly what is needed. Tomorrow will be our last full day at passage until we arrive at the Ahe Atoll. Michael
