Location: Tabago Cays, Grenadines
Once again, Ocean Star awoke to the beautiful views of the Tobago Cays early this morning. After a rowdy wake up, we enjoyed a delicious meal of chocolate muffins and cereal. We then headed into our two morning classes. In marine biology class, we learned about all forms of mollusks and worms in hopes of seeing them later in the day. Afterward, we proceeded into leadership class, which involved an interesting activity of figuring out what our personalities are most like. Class ended and we enjoyed some quite and easy free time for studying and tanning up on deck. Lunch was a hot meal of tomato soup and grilled cheese. After lunch, the real fun began and we headed snorkeling to a new beach we had not been to yet. We saw all sorts of sea life including stingrays, more turtles and plenty of fishes. Unfortunately, it seams that everyone was having far too much fun to take any pictures so sorry about the limited selection. A few hours later, we packed up our gear and loaded into the dinghies to head back home. “Before dinner showers” were in order along with some laundry and as always more naps. Dinner was yet another fantastic meal of chicken and rice. After dinner, we reviewed for our upcoming international crew certificate test in preparation for taking the exam tomorrow. After a few hours of tying knots and reviewing buoys, it is off to bed for the wonderful crew of Ocean Star.
