Location: Charleston, Nevis
We spent most of the day in our watch teams, alternating through 3 hours shifts on deck. The passage from the BVI was calm and the moon extremely bright, making for a nice first passage for the crew. I believe we may have set a record with not a single “booter.” We passed Saba off to port as the sun rose, catching a glimpse of the mystical island we would explore on our return. Next was Statia, then St Kitts, and at about 14:00, Nevis came into view. Just before 18:00, we picked up a mooring off Pinney Beach and enjoyed chili for dinner. Dan went ashore to clear immigration, allowing the crew a night out at Chevy’s Beach Bar. Everyone is eager to explore more of Nevis tomorrow.
