Since we woke up, we were very excited as we knew that today we were going to start a passage for the first time. At 7:00 am we headed towards Roadtown in Tortola, where we got ready for the journey: some shopping on shore and refueling. After lunch everything was ready for the passage, the boat was 40/40, bcds on and sails set. We sailed through the BVI until the islands disappeared in the horizon and we could only see the ocean all around us. It was a whole new experience: great winds, big wavesmoving, eating, and sleeping on deck has become tougher but exciting and it will on for the next 30 hours until we get to Nevis.
