Location: Mt. Point BVI

Hello world! Today was a spectacular day on our beautiful Vela boat. Fun fact: did you know that it is named after a constellation? I learned that today and thought I would share it with you guys!

Now, in terms of all the fun activities and meals we had today, we started this rather action-packed day with the breakfast of champions: eggs, bacon, rolls, and lots more. After this, the non-certified divers continued their training. This was done at a shipwreck site. Read until the end to hear some great news! During this time, certified divers took out the smaller sailboat and followed a knot class.

Then, it was time for lunch! The chef and sous-chefs prepared some meat and some rice for the team. It was not much time after this that the non-certified divers went back to finish their skills diving. Later, the group did a MEGA dive, meaning that mostly all the students went to explore a reef with a great variety of fish. The great news is that with this dive, the non-certified divers met their dive requirements!

Later, the students came back and undid their gear. Then, a lot of people indulged in the activity of bracelet making, more specifically, braided bracelets around the ankles. What fun! Time flew by until dinner, which was some truly delicious baked ziti. It started to rain on the food, but thankfully, we saved it.

Finally, the crew cleaned the boat, and we were ready for another night on Vela.

Until next time!
