As we approached port, it became very dark, and we came into a very narrow and busy canal. The current was strong, and the Frenchmen were loud. The passage soon proved unsafe for a night anchor, so Captain Sean navigated back out to open water for the night. The morning came quickly, and we dinghied to shore for an amazing hike. We went to an old lighthouse and secluded beach that had cool rock formations all around it. Later, we returned to the boat after a relaxing day to get ready for a much-appreciated night out.
