Hi, I hope everyone at home is having an amazing day! On the 8 to 12 am watch last night, watch team one (my watch team) saw a comet or a rocket, it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen, it looked like a big fireball flying through the night sky. Watch team 2 had a rough night. After attempting to jibe twice, they eventually were successful on their third attempt. During our morning watch, we had our lines test, which included naming 20 lines on the Argo; we all passed for the most part. After a delicious pasta salad for lunch, we had class. Nacho was up first with oceanography, where he taught us about marine sediments, followed by Aiden with leadership. For leadership, Sydney and I presented chapter 4 of our textbook, Understanding Yourself. We did our best, considering we were all tired and low on energy. We learned about the MBTI personality test, which was very informative, and Aiden finished the class off by telling us more about the challenge we have in San Blas. We picked our team colours and received our backstories. Although we don’t exactly know what the challenge entails, we are super excited. aftr class we were suppose to raise the main sail but martin and will found a rip in it while setting up sail ties, so instead a bunch of us chilled in the cockpit watching Charlie do his helmsona and the 3m swells roll argo back and forth, jonas fished, most of us ate snacks, listened to music, and talked, the vibes were awesome. shoutout to arthur for mkaing a tasty chicken curry even with the condtions in the galley, cooking for 30 people is not easy but with not being able to stand properly, dishes sliding across the counters, opeing a drawer and every container decided to fall out makes cooking a much more difficult task. as everyone cleaned up and the sun was setting I was helming, I can now say I have helmed a 112ft sail boat in 3m swells, which is something I never thought I would say. Overall, it was a fun day on passage, and no one was severely seasick!

( Hi family and Ava! I miss you all, I hope home isn’tisn’tboring without me!)
