The crew started the day bright and early with a beautiful sunrise hike. This 30-minute hike led us to the top of a mountain on a nearby island. With a little bit of climbing, we made it to the top with time to spare. Watching the sun peak over the horizon created a long moment of bonding for the crew. After finishing our hike, we made it back to the boat for breakfast. After breakfast clean-up, we set up our dive gear and entered the water, ready to continue our rescue diving skills. We worked on getting a victim out of the water, rescuing an unconscious diver at the surface, and surfacing an unresponsive diver under the surface. With lots of work and failed attempts, everyone made a successful save and passed the dive skills. Almost immediately after finishing the skills, all crew on deck went through into a rescue scenario where we had to recover two unconscious divers and a panicked diver at the surface. With good teamwork and training, everyone was able to aid the victims and get a rescue scenario under their belt. After these stressful events, everybody got prepared to move to the dock of Saint Barths and have time to explore the town. Some people went to try local food, and others spent time getting to know the local galleries and shops. We then proceeded to muster at Ocean Star and go out to have a fantastic sign-out night. With good friends and cold drinks, everybody had a marvelous night together.
