Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda, BVI
Hello family, friends, fans, and future students!
Today we woke up as we were leaving the colorful marina at Leverick Bay. We motored around Virgin Gorda to Mountain Point for a morning full of scuba diving. After we packed up our SCUBA kit and got to enjoy some real Caribbean air, we raised the anchor and were underway to Road Town in Tortola, BVI for a fuel up. On the way, lunch was grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup; an unexpectedly flawless meal at sea. On the way to Road Town, there was time to catch up on some Zzzs, do some reading for class, and hang out on deck. We had dinner underway and all gathered before clean up and our first Oceanography class. Tonight we are anchored near the Baths and will be able to explore them tomorrow morning as a group.
