Today we woke up to a breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon prepared by our chefs of the day, Fresca and Rob. After breakfast and clean up, the crew finished getting the boat ready to sail before we headed off to Saba. We had a nice morning sail, arriving at our mooring a little after 12 o’clock. The crew promptly took the sails down, finished putting the boat away, and crowded around the cockpit for a late lunch. After lunch we had a break before an MTE review in the late afternoon. Simon and Dan helped us with chart plotting to help prepare us for the final exam coming up in a few days. Following MTE we had another break before dinner, and then had a marine biology class on marine protected areas, which was our last class aboard Ocean Star for the semester. That would also mean that today is my final day as skipper, so after an amazing semester, this is Rachel signing out.
