Location: Young Island, St. Vincent
We started in Bequia with a nice and windy morning. Next came a test for Marine bio, which I think I did pretty well on. After I kept doing some school work while the anchors were being raised. We had a plan for today… We kind of stuck to it, and it was another great day! We ended back in Young Island on the mooring ball with enough time for our leadership class and some time for a nice little snorkel. The water here is not as clear as our previous locations have been. That’s ok. We have to clear customs… Only a few days and a short passage until Saint Lucia… AKA freshwater showers/ no night watches. Super excited about this. Heard there’s some solid WIFI as well. Sorry, mom, for replying yes all day to my data. It’s my little cousin’s birthday today! Shout out to Ari whoop whoop happy birthday, you little savage! It’s cold back in Chicago, so it feels good to keep the summer weather rolling… just add some midterms and some school, and here we are. I think we are diving deeper than we have before tomorrow, so that’s super awesome. Off to bed now!
