Days dont really have beginnings or ends
Every day revolves around our watches
They spread into the night and up till dawn
Early this morning the sails came inwards
Not down, not to port, and not to starboard
Theres no risk to jibe, but we cant catch wind
We turned on the engine and turned it up
Spent the day learning every thing we could
About fires and drills and what to do
About ocean seafloor and sediments
The sky opened up and the sun beat down
And blue stretched as far as the eye could see
Watched oer the ocean as if we were kings
We cant wait to see what tomorrow brings
