Location: Avarua, Rarotonga
We made it to Rarotonga! It was an early start to an awesome day. Apparently, the sunrise was something out of a Monet watercolor. I woke up to a beautiful island off our port side. A bunch of huge mountains and sandy pristine beaches. How spoiled are we?! We hadn’t been docked since day one so Captain Ian briefed Watch Team 1 and 3 on how to prep the boat. After four days with nothing but ocean, we were all real excited to have our feet on solid ground again. After a successful docking to the side of a rusty old fishing boat, we all did our best to make Argo clean and shiny again. She looks real nice now. We spent the rest of the day on shore exploring our new destination. We made some friends with local cows and pigs and ate really good ice cream. Overall another amazing day in the books.
