Location: Gorda Sound, British Virgin Islands
Following a marvelous breakfast of pancakes/crepes, the crew of Ocean Star headed to shore for the beach ecology lab. After successfully locating a suitable beach, everyone scattered to bring back interesting objects to discuss. Once the lab was over, the local grocery store was visited to stock up on essential food items. In the afternoon, following a delicious lunch of bagel tuna melts, the crew perfected their sailing skills on Rhodes 19’s in Gorda Sound. Everyone then relaxed on deck, working either on their field notebooks or their tans. Once the fabulous chicken stir-fry dinner was cleared, we all headed to Saba Rock for the evening.
