Location: 106 Nautical Miles Northeast of Bonaire
Hello, it’s the Norwegian sailor again. Today, we woke up on our third day of sailing to a beautiful sunrise, good wind, and calm sea. The seasickness level is also pretty good today, meaning Micheal only threw up once this morning and has been feeling good the rest of the day. We did not see any dolphins today (Chance claims to have “seen” one this morning), but the flying fish keep impressing. In the salty pit after dinner (Aka the dishes) we all learn the Norwegian word for swamp, which is: Svampebob Firkant (now you also know:)). We also learned how to plot nautical miles and coordinates correctly in our seaman class, which is pretty cool, too. Now we have decided to start the engine and raise all the sails, so we will hopefully arrive in Bonaire tomorrow morning!! Really excited about that. Can’t wait to jump in and do an ocean shower again.
Thank you for today!
