Location: Prickly Bay, Grenada

This morning, we woke up bright and early. We ate some delicious chocolate chip pancakes and got ready to go out for the day. Around 8:30, we all got into the dinghy and went ashore to meet the cab driver, Bernard. Bernard was quite a nice fellow. He fashioned dreadlocks and a smile. He took us to a bakery where we ate our faces in deliciousness. We then drove up some mountains to get to some sick waterfalls. We hiked through mud and water until we arrived at the first waterfall, Honeymoon waterfall. We couldn’t jump off this one, but it was the largest and greatest of the seven. It was nearly 70 ft high. Then, we made our way to the real adventure. We got to jump off six waterfalls ranging from 35 ft to 10ft. Some of the pools at the bottom were so shallow he had to land on our backs. It was a blast, one of the best things we’ve been able to do so far. Prickly Bay is a beautiful place, and we’ll get to explore the island more in the upcoming days.
