Location: Underway to the Marquesas
Reporting live from 7 degrees South, 103 West, it’s everyone’s favorite skipper, The Man, the Myth, the Legend, Dave Holland. Another beautiful day underway to the Marquesas and spirits are high due to the lack of rain and the abundance of sun. Yes that’s right, up until recently we seem to have been followed by some pesky rain clouds, causing general discomfort and forcing Argo to become a temporary wet bird sanctuary. But all is back to our normal state of tropical bliss (knock on wood) as we enjoy steady winds from the Southeast pushing towards another beautiful paradise. Life continues as normal for the crew, laboring through classwork and boat work, finding joy in the small things and living in the moment as we head on into the middle of the great Pacific. Sooner or later we will be the farthest you can be from land anywhere on this planet, a moment this skipper is looking very much forward too as I’m sure many of the crew are as well. Fingers crossed for smooth sailing and good times as we travel onward. This is the world’s most charming and cunning skipper, signing off. Goodnight and god speed.
