Location: Underway to Nuka Hiva

I was awoken at 3:30 am by a strange Australian man who told me I had something called watch. Watch team 2 had a very relaxing 4 hours, where the first two were comprised of making fun of each other and then being forced to say at least one nice thing about each person. The last two hours, our captain popped his head out of the companion way and told us to start raising and putting out sails. Once the main sail was lifted and the stay sails were eased out, the engine was turned off to leave the loud buzzing noise in the past and watch a beautiful sunrise. Lunch was made by our captain, Brooke, and Graham. They prepared a nice ground turkey pasta, which led to a fight between our so-called programitarians, who were in a competition to eat the least amount of meat on passage (both of them ate the meat). I was part of the first group of future navigation masters who had to take our long-awaited exam. I feel very confident, but well find out if I should be. Much studying from those who werent taking the exam occurred in the gap between lunch and dinner, which was a tray of baked potatoes with chili. For our daily appreciations and squeeze questions, I managed to come up with a very deep and personal questionred or Blue. To end the squeeze, I asked everyone to sit in silence for 3 seconds to appreciate the engine being turned off and truly sailing again, which was immediately interrupted by Jay coughing.

Missing my family and friends,
